 Bath textiles have many different categories.  There are towels, curtains, sinks, showers, tubs, lighting, flooring, etc.  Towels are a huge part in the bathing textiles because there are always more than one towel within a bathroom.  The two major sides of towels are the soft, absorbent kind that is made of 100% cotton or their is the more durable quality, quick-drying type that is a mix of cotton and polyester.  These fibers are constantly competing for the top spot in the towel industry.  Towels can also be cheap or fine quality.  Some towels are quick to shed the fluff and lose it's softness, and some towels are able to keep the same soft, durable feel even after 20 washes.

Another textile that is often overlooked in the bathroom is the flooring.  You cannot just have any type of flooring in there because you are dealing with water and possible water damage.  The water can come from the shower, steam, toilet, overflow, and even from the sink.  So the floor has to be waterproof.  The best options for a bathroom floor is porcelain or ceramic tiles because waterproof.  These tiles are also on the less expensive side, but they still offer a classy look.  You can also create many different design patterns with these tiles that can make a statement within a bathroom.  Now the pricier range of a bathroom floor would be natural stone.  They are made for a luxurious look and are not always completely waterproof.  If you do choose to go with natural stone, it can up your house resale price but there are also a lot of cons.  It is cold on your feet so you would need underfloor heating, you will have to reseal every couple of years, and it can be slippery so be sure to get stones that are more textured.  Other flooring options include vinyl, concrete, engineered wood, and even cork.

Bedding, just like bathing textiles, has many aspects to it.  There are huge parts like the bed frame and the mattress, and then there are smaller parts like sheets thread count and throw pillows.  Sheets are of high important for a bed for that is what we sleep on.  Bad quality sheets can affect how people sleep.  The price range on sheets can range significantly.  High end sheets are mainly made from Egyptian cotton, mulberry silk, bamboo, and linen.  Advantages to buying expensive sheets include temperature control, good for skin, guards against allergies, and long lasting.  It can help control the temperature because these fibers are breathable and can let heat escape, but can also trap heat if you are cold at night.  Expensive sheets are good for your skin in the way that they are softer and help prevent skin irritation.  The best material that helps your skin is the mulberry silk.  It has been found to have an anti-aging properties in that help keep your skin stay moist and smooth while you are sleeping.  There are some cons to high-end sheets.  They can wrinkle easily, they require a lot of care, and also some manufactures add synthetic fibers into the fiber in order to lower the price.
